I just got my Visa from the Chinese Embassy... Yannick is getting married in China in the beginning of July... I could obviously not let that happen without being there, so I am flying to Beijing on July 1st. I'll be staying there for three weeks. I want to climb the great wall (which can not be seen from space, by the way, thank you Lars alias Wikipedia). I am unfortunately getting back to work on July 21st, but it will only be for another month, which means I should make it to Lima on August 28th!
Too bad I will have a busy week : lots to do before being out of office for 3 weeks. And I am still trying to find a job for when I get back. Wish me luck for this afternoon's interview :-S
Good news : today, a friend of Sophie gave me contacts in Bolivia. I am hoping to stay there for three weeks or more probably in the jungle, on our way from Lima to Rio. That's a good start!
