Hi all! For those of you who don't know me, my name is Gustav and its my fault that this blog is not in french (i.e. I'm also going on the trip and unfortunately my french vocabulary is limited to curseworsds).
As the title of this post implies I'm done with the main part of my exams so now I have some time to post on the blog. The last few days I've been working like crazy sleeping two to three hours per night but I guess that's a just punishment for doing nothing the entire semester.
For me the trip starts in Valparaíso, Chile, where I am currently doing an exchange-study program. Last semester I was studying physics (in which I would have been getting a masters this year if it wasn't for this trip). This semester I'm taking some easy courses in basic economics and improving my spanish (or my chilean, the local dialect is supposedly the most distinct and complicated spanish in the world so the rest of south america should be easy!).
During my year in Chile I've travelled almost the entire country and made some short trips to Peru and Argentina. Everything I've seen so far has been marvelous and I'm really looking forward to the trip!
