The Everglades

Yesterday we went to the everglades. It is a national park only an hour-drive away from Miami. We went there with two other French met at the hostel. The park is basically a very large swamp infested with alligators (not to be approached, Gustav...).
We rented bikes for an hour to get a closer look of the incredible fauna.
I really felt like swimming, because it was a good warm day, but I had to reconsider when I saw this.

Tomorrow morning, we'll be flying to NYC. We'll try to enjoy the last day at the beach as much as possible!!!

Hi,
The crocodile near Gustav is smaller than some crocodiles Greg met las summer in Burundi, but still I think you were happy to ride a bicycle !...
Did you try to compete with a running crocodile ?
Best regards Jean-Yves

I take it that these photos were shot after a couple of bottles of bourbon on Key West.

Enjoy the big apple !

Nope... There was no keywest for us and no bourbon (both were off budget).

pfff... It's been raining the last three days in NYC. It is a really nice city though, and we still have not decided what to do this weekend.

Now the weather is really nice... although really cold. We might stay in town after all, NYC is amazing (apart for the 9/hour of iternet, which is not good for the blog). Ill try to upload some pictures soon.

Can you turn it on by the way? Just to check if it still works... if not, I need to purchase the 3 years insurance.
