Asuncion

Soo... we are now in Asuncion, where we should stay a couple days. (until this weekend, probably, guess why...). That was the easiest border crossing so far...

I really tried... but the picture upload wont work. Maybe tomorrow...

Even with the 20 points malus given to Yannick (Helene is in not in Malta, Sophie is...), I think he is first this time... Now I have to go to the postoffice...

grump, I deserve a postcard for being so funny and non-spamming, but by the time it will arrive at my new address Coppenolstraat 14, 2000 Antwerpen. groumpf.

I agree with the previous poster and any geek can make a spamming program to blast the count. I just don't, because I'm a gentelman.

Hi,
So this was your 5th border crossing, if I count right...
Hope you will find in Uruguay places as exceptionnal as in Peru, Chile and Bolivia !
Thank you you for sharing your experience, and.. for the efforts gathering at the same place the camera, the USB connector, the USB connection, the available PC in a cyber, and...the Internet connection with an upload capacity higher than 1 medium resolution picture an hour....
Best regards Jean-Yves

Let me guess ... There's a fancy asunción coming up this weekend and you wouldn't want to miss it.. or ... night buses are cheaper/more crowded/cosier after the weekend ... You need a couple of days to recover from the last bus ride...

By the way: Thank you for the postcard! It arrived safely and so did the very heroic stamps. However, I must admit I had to look up the meaning of carajo -as in "Viva El Perú Carajo". The outcome was slightly confusing: Miembro viril; U. para suplir el nombre de un hombre que no se quiere mencionar para desvalorizarlo; U. para expresar disgusto, rechazo, sorpresa, asombro, etc.; Muy grande o intenso. But I think I can guess which meanings are applicable... And thsnk you, Pierre, for reminding me about "les si". My french could certainly need a lot of refreshment. -And your blog offers vast opportunities to practise ...

I disagree with yannick, why post several comments on the same post if you are the same person ??? One is enough and you can arrange your thoughts better fyfan.

I do not often leave several comments on a same post... at least, not on each of the 50 posts of Pierre and Gustav (great writers, by the way !)

And if, perhaps it is just that I need a right to answer :) or that a stupid joke suddenly came to my mind...

anyway, let's admit we delete all the times I left more than one comment on a post, no changes :) and it's sooo far from a geek's program...

P&L friends ! And how long does it take to receive its card, by the way ? :)

Hi,
Nice to see pictures of your residences...
Happy to know that you found all the necessary equipment to upload these pictures !...
Best Regards Jean-Yves

@Yannick : je ne suis pas mauvais joueur : le terme de spam était certainement mal choisi ;-) J'avoue que j'ai plutôt pensé : joli coup ;-)

Donc pas de problème :)

congratulations for zooming the map... but you can do better, and the blue lines are not nice.

And blogger sucks, you should try to host your blog in paraguay, I heard they are the world leaders in FTTC (fiber to the cavern)

I should ban geeks from this blog :-p

and how would you do that ?

You love comments so much that you would never forbid anonymous comments. Your self-centeredness would suffer from it.

Yeah, out of pure luck the pictures do look quite nice. I chose them at random because what could be seen on my screen in the Asunción internet café didnt really look anything like what I remembered it (as far as I could remember it was not all dark, nor was there any sandstorm...).
