After the two-day journey along Ruta 40, I stopped two days in El Chalten. There is basically nothing to do in Chalten apart from trekking! I went the first day trekking with two girls, scottish and british, and a spanish guy (with whom I'll trek in Chile a couple days). We left at 9am to see "El Fitz Roy", a really beautiful mountain (but the top is quite hard to reach!). After lunch, we split because we guys wanted to walk more, and we went back to town at 8pm. It was really exhausting, but great!.
I made it in time to take my evening bus to El Calafate. Then again, sunset (picture taken from the bus)...

Hi,
Once again la hermanita shot first.
Congratulations to her !, and to the photograph, and mountain climber...
Best regards Jean-Yves
Buarpf. You probably should have climbed with the spaniard. Pretending to be weak to be supportive to the girls is not a good strategy.
Instead of trekking, you should blog more often, and one post at a time. Otherwise it's cheating.
But then where would he take nice pictures ? on google images ? :p
Dont worry, I did not play the weak strategy, I left them after the lunch break with the spaniard....
or rather, I left with the spaniard after lunch break.
Pierre has too much pride to play the weak strategy ... What were you thinking magnus ohlsson ? ! :p
Ahh la deuxième photo me fait baver :)
