Unfortunately we'll have to postpone the birthday party... We'll be spending the night on the bus tonight (and it is definitely a long and winding road). The birthday party will therefore be held in Arrequipa, tomorrow night.
Obviously the party tomorrow will be ten times bigger just to compensate for the fact that its not my actual birthday. Thus its a pleasure to anounce that the first 500 of our blog readers that show up in Arequipa tomorrow will get their drinks for free!!!!
Hello, So this birthday party, higher than mosquitos can fly (over 2000 meters...). Did you go through Colca Canyon, or do you plan to go there ? Regards Jean-Yves
We are analyzing the different possibilities... Most probably, we'll start trekking on Sunday, spend a couple days in Colca Canyon, and after that climb a peak close to 6000m. We figured it would be cheaper to trek here than at Macchu Picchu, so we'll probably just take the bus to the ruins (and save like 300usd each!). We'll trek again in Bolivia, there is a nice 6800m+ peak close to La Paz.

And enjoy the party tomorrow !
Happy birthday again Gustav !
Xavier.

Hello,
How was the night in bus ? A long night of 14 hours ? Planning to hike from Arrequipa to Machu Pichu ?
Best Regards Jean-Yves
As if you minded partying in a bus !
Happy Birthday Gustav!
I dont mind partying in a bus, you're right bro... But I do if the road is a hazardous mountain road...
